# Succession Process

* Primary Responsibility: The incumbent finds and trains their replacement.
* Council Involvement: If the incumbent fails, the other two Council members will find a replacement.
* Escalation Path: If the Council members fail, the task falls to the most respected Architect, then the class leaders, and finally the Sherpas.
